This place is your typical car dealership. They didn’t pressure me as much as some other places which was refreshing but the GM didn’t really want to help me out either. It really comes down to who you see because I saw another salesman practically shouting at another customer. I ended up with a good deal on a lease. The communication isn’t stellar or else I would’ve given 5 stars. I still have no idea what next steps are or why they keep pulling hard inquiries on my credit now that we are signed and done. Pedro was super nice and helpful! I’d definitely work with him again!

Shady business practice

Sales person was fine. Hugo, finance person, lied by saying the extended warranty was mandatory. When I pushed back, he was rude and irritated when he realized that I wasn’t biting. Wanted to pay cash for vehicle but was told we had to finance.. Rate was 2.25 higher than my bank. Just signed the paperwork to get out of there. I will be paying off ASAP. Not a good experience! Another note, another finance person came in to complete the paperwork. I believe his name was Dennis, he was apologetic and very professional. Wish we had him from the beginning, may have been a better experience.

Overall the experience was very good

Chuck and the crew were very patient and informative. The process was pretty easy and we Didn’t have any negative or uncomfortable moments. Chuck’s manager or whoever was behind the main desk was very helpful as well and super polite. We got a pretty good deal and I feel it was a win win on both ends. The only issue we had was something regarding the insurance and rmv1 form. I guess someone made a typo and if that wasn’t resolved, we may have been waiting a long time at the dealership to pick up the car at the end of the day. Luckily I called ahead to get that process figured out and it was smooth sailing after that. Honestly, I don’t think that was Chuck fault and it must have been a clumsy error somewhere in the process. Overall it was a very good experience and would recommend Chuck and his team.

Once again, they exceeded my expectations!!!

I've leased from Boch (Clay) Hyundai three times. The first time was in 2015. The first time I went into (then Clay) Boch Hyundai, my wife wanted me to go alone because she hated seeing how upset I would get by getting screwed around with, "numbers games", wasted time, and yearning for that piece of my life back, as well as my dignity. Summary: All 3 lease experiences were amazing! I am incredibly surprised and can truly call myself a loyal customer. Thank you, Wassim, Chuck Kallis, and Justin Boyd for changing my impression of the car buying/leasing experience! (You may want to just jump to the bottom... Something interesting happens...) --- 2015 Lease #1: Exceeded Expectations However, I went in with my guns blazing the first time, and then ended up walking out scratching my head with a smile wondering why I actually felt like I got the deal I originally asked for with even some extras. At that time I signed the paperwork with Wassim when he was in finance. I actually asked for his card before leaving because I was so pleased -- that has NEVER happened before. 2015 Santa Fe Ownership #1: Exceeded Expectations Then, the amazing part is the Hyundai Santa Fe exceeded our expectations in sheer functionality and features. I am an engineer. I tend to pick up on technical details. Even the technology and subtle features of the Hyundai innovation impressed me -- that hasn't happened with a car I've had since I first bought a new VW Passat in 2002. Then the impression continued through follow up surveys that seemed genuine in asking real questions. So, I provided real feedback. I was incredibly impressed that the actual Hyundai Engineering team subsequently contacted me for more information to help them improve their design. And I'm sure it wasn't just my feedback, but I was blown away to see several of the features I mentioned were redesigned/adjusted/improved in the 2018 Santa Fe I got at the end of that lease... See below :) 2015 Santa Fe Service #1: Exceeded Expectations I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop on every "service contract" I tack onto my purchase. There is always a catch that works in the dealership's favor. "The nail went through the _wall_ of the tire... that's not covered. Only when it goes through the tread". But again I was incredibly surprised that over the course of 3 years having the lease, I literally did not get charged for anything I didn't expect. And the most amazing part was that one time my au pair hit something that caused the wheel well lining (plastic guard around the inside of the fender) to come off and it was dragging on the tire. I was so upset because it wasn't covered and I thought it would cost $150+ to fix it. The service manager (sorry, can't remember his name because it was several years ago) took a look and quoted me something in that range: $150. GAH! I said fine.. go ahead and do it. Only 10 - 15 mins later he said "It's all ready to go." I got out my card to pay. He said "you know what... I also checked our cost on the part. It's basically negligible. And it only took 10 mins. So, I'm not going to charge you _anything_" (xxx?!?!?!?) I was literally in shock trying to make sure I understood what he said and didn't miss some other angle where he got me in a pinch. I reached out and asked if I could shake his hand -- "Thank you. I promise I'll be back." He really did make my day. And for no reason. I didn't even ask for a lower price. It was my au pair's fault. I couldn't say anything about expectations... But yet I left feeling amazing. 2018 Santa Fe Lease and Service #2: Exceeded Expectations ... I can't imagine that anyone is still reading at this point. So, let's just say, I went back and signed another lease for a 2018 Santa Fe because of how much we loved the first one. Same great Sales AND Service experience. [PLEASE READ] 2019 Kona Lease and Service #3: Exceeded Expectations So we were shopping for a second car a couple years ago in addition to our second Santa Fe. I stopped by Boch Hyundai because of how pleased we were, and I was developing customer loyalty to them for the first time ever. Unfortunately, Wassim was there when I stopped by. I took the Tucson for a drive, but didn't really like some of the aspects. It felt like a cheap version of the Santa Fe that I loved. So, I made one of the worst mistakes by making the rounds at other dealerships and ending up with a Nissan Rogue. It had gotten tons of great reviews, blah, blah. It was comparable to the Tucson, same basic features, same pricing, etc... But my real reason for choosing it was because it was also Boch. So, I assumed the same Sales and Service. Long story short, I got screwed. At every turn I've been disappointed with that lease: * The service department finds ways to tack on a minimum of $400 each time I'm there for a routine service * They don't ask me before doing the repairs, then they say "we had to do it because of the inspection", etc. * I was the VERY first customer at the service department one day for a routine oil change. They said it would be 30 mins tops. No exaggeration, it was 3 hours later before I left. No explanation as to why it took so long. And they also couldn't explain the other issues I was having such as why the auto-lift tail gate opens, then automatically closed while I'm reaching inside. Nor why my Nissan Connect App won't actually connect to my car. And they found a few other things to tack on several hundred dollars. ... This happened on multiple occasions... And my au pair even called me one time and said "they told me I'm not allowed to leave. They charged $100s of dollars for stuff I don't know why... and it's been hours when they said it would be 30 mins and I have to get the kids from camp and they won't let me leave and the camp is even calling me asking why I'm not there" -- I am using utmost restraint to not use the real words I want to use to explain how I feel about how they treated her. My wife ended up having to call Nissan and the Camp (during work). I also had to call camp and my au pair (during work). And all because of the A__ H____s at Boch Nissan Service department. I was so disgusted by looking at that Rogue every day and feeling like I got screwed that I actually went to Boch Hyundai and talked to Wassim and Chuck to see if there was any way they could get me out of the last 5 months of my lease at Nissan since it is owned by the same company. Without blinking he said -- "Yes. Are you ready to do it now? Or do you need time? Just stop by when you are ready" -- no pressure!! I wanted to hug him. So in the end... I ended up getting out of the lease at Nissan (special circumstances I'm sure because of my horrible situation and my customer loyalty), and I can't tell you how happy I am with this new Kona! I didn't even know about it. But it matched the parameters I gave Wassim and Chuck. Wassim is now General Sales Manager -- congratulations! Well deserved, Wassim!!! Chuck is still there. And I had an incredible experience with the newly hired Justin Boyd that was amazing to work with. He admitted to me that I was his 4th contract there, so he wanted to apologize in advance if anything took too long. It didn't take any time at all other than the 30 minutes to unfreeze my credit report -- COMPLETELY MY FAULT, and renegotiating a couple details that were also things that I threw in at the last minute. They absolutely did their part in moving things along. And I think I still was in and out in less time than expected. And as an added bonus, I asked for extra features, Wassim said he can't do it because he'll lose money at the price I had to keep my payments. I said, let me just run an errand in the car and think about it. I came back and said "Ok. Fine. We can up my payments for it. Chuck said, Wassim decided that he wants your business more than the $20/mo. So, he said he's fine keeping the payments as they are and giving you the features." WHAT?!?!?!? GAH! I can't believe I am actually wanting to hug Wassim and Chuck again. (BTW: this was a feature for my wife -- "Happy wife, happy life", guys!) Thank you so much! --Wes

Love my Santa Fe and loved my experience

Car shopping is not my favorite thing but the atmosphere and the way I was treated from the time I walked in made all the difference. Mike was able to show me what I was looking for, he was patient with me as I learned more about the brand and models as I had never looked at a Hyundai before and made the whole thing, from test drive to delivery not only painless but fun. Magette the manager is an old friend who is sold me three previous cars from the Toyota dealerships all Camrys. I worked with Mike McShane who was very helpful - spent a lot of time, showed me all the features of the car, and was very responsive to all of my emails and calls. I shopped for the car using Truecar.com. Another dealer came back with an offer that was $1400 less than Boch Hyundai. Boch eventually agreed to match the price. I bought from them because they are closer to my home than the other dealer, and also because of the salesman being so helpful. However, had the other dealer been closer I would have bought from them since they offered the better price right off the bat.

Great experience!

Started this process about a month ago with a test drive with Mike. After shopping around, I decided I liked the Tucson the best out of all cars in its class I drove. From there, I spoke to many Hyundai dealerships to find the best price, and ended up back at Boch. Wassim and Mike worked hard to make sure I was satisfied and getting a deal that worked for both of us. This was my first time buying a car, so I appreciated their patience when walking me though the whole process. Easy and stress free

Very few things in life stress me out the way buying a new car, and this time around we had our 6 year old with us, but my worry was unnecessary. We talked with Michael McShane, our salesman, about what we wanted and didn’t want and just like that we were test driving our new car. Before and during the test drive Michael was giving me the rundown on different features and options in the car and was really great about answering any questions we had, even silly ones from our child. Financing was quick and painless ( I had a bad experience with a previous dealership trying to force finance package on me that I didn’t want or need, but not the case here) and the couple questions I had were quickly answered. Michael kept in touch with me over the next couple days until the car was ready for me, and contacted me a day or so after I picked the car up to see if I was enjoying the car or had any questions. When I picked up the car he made sure to go over the features and buttons again and helped me get my phone and car synced and sat with me in the car until all my questions were answered. I could not have have asked for a more painless and stress free experience

Own two luxury vehicle-wanted to consolidate to one

When my husband and I walked in, we were greeted in the most rude manor. We had decided that owning two luxury cars wouldn’t fit out city work life and that we wanted to consolidate to just one, particularly the Genesis g70. It fit our budget and our lifestyle. But when we went in to go see if we could take one for a test drive (all of maybe less than a mile), the sales rep said no because we weren’t buying right away and that he didn’t want miles out on to the car. Mostly all dealerships have a “test drive” car on their lot but apparently they did not. We thought he was kidding at first but we very quickly realized that he wasn’t. All we wanted to see was if this car was comfortable, had good visibility, good steaming, etc. But apparently you won’t be able to find any of that out unless your buy right at that moment. Very unfortunate and we will be taking our business elsewhere, with pleasure.

Zero Hassles

I looked online found the car I was looking for then scheduled a time to test drive the vehicle, met Michael McShane on the lot very professional and polite, from the time I got there to leaving with Certified Preowned it took less than three hours to get the deal and financing done to leaving with the car. Beshara from financing was great as well. I had looked around at a few dealers in the area, had a few problems closing deals with them. At this dealership, I got a great price on the car and then they knocked another $500. off of it before we even got to the table. Got a fair price for my trade-in they offered a number that was respectful and not insulting like a few dealerships I had been to in the past. I would recommend this dealership was a no hassle, no pressure.

We negotiated a deal on a 2018 Genesis G80c. Finally agreed on price and terms. We were going to pick it up next day After contacting Sales person Marshall Jean the next day to make arrangements to pick it up , he said it was sold to someone else. And thats why car dealers have bad reputations. You cant trust them to honor their word. Wassim Kafal says we hadnt put a deposit. No one asked for a deposit. Good job Boch Hyundai. Car was for sale for 2 years, we accept their offer and its sold the next day to someone else.

Awesome Sales Rep

Poor overall sales & service experience

It took 3 hours to get financing. No gas in car. Mileage was higher than advertised. Audio volume did not work on radio. There were unadvertised scratches that did no match documents. They drove it around for a month & let people smoke in it & apparently did not turn on radio? Scheduled service for Sat. And did not have part, re-scheduled for Monday and they called an hour later saying they did not have part & we would have to reschedule. There is probably more but have had car less than a week.

2019 G80 Genesis

On April 6th I visited Boch Hyundai/Genesis in Norwood. This was my first time visiting this dealership. Frankly, I was bit reluctant to make this trip because I had always been part of a different Hyundai dealership in the North Shore area, closer to my home. However, North Shore dealership does not have Genesis vehicles so I was "forced" to shop around for my new Genesis lease. For a several weeks I was in contact with a few Genesis dealerships looking for my new lease. While I had some good leads and offers Boch Genesis stood out. The reason for that is Wassim Kafal, General Manager. Wassim and I exchanged few email within couple of days and we got a deal done. It was simple, straightforward, with no hassle. Wassim was transparent with what he can do for me to ensure I get the best deal possible. When I arrived to the Boch Hyundai dealership I met Wassim who confirmed, with his upbeat attitude and friendly approach, that the deal he provided to me via email is all set. He than introduce me to Marshall who was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful, knowledgeable, showed a great deal of patience while answering all of my questions. We all know that purchasing a car can be very stressful at times.
